This carrier is specifically engineered and built to transport wide and long manufactured steel tubing (6.5 ft. wide x 58 ft. long). The carrier hauls the beams that previously required a truck, trailer, and crane to move. This makes moving the beams safer, simpler, less expensive, and more productive.
This unit is designed and manufactured to haul raw billets of metal from the hot metal mill of a specialty alloy manufacturer. The load can be up to 1,200 degrees and sometimes hauled in hot boxes to maintain the temperature until the next stage of processing.
This carrier is going to the same specialty alloy manufacturer as above. Fast and efficient transportation of the raw billets is vital in this fast-paced manufacturing facility. The carriers are replacements for units originally sold in the early 1980’s.
